Your Road to 5K with ME.
Whether you're walking your first mile, returning to movement or already running regularly, there's a place for you here. Start where you are today. We'll show you your next step.
Walk. Run/Walk. Run. All are welcome.
One road. Different phases. A place to begin wherever you are.
The 2027 training journey builds in phases. Each phase has a specific purpose and its own guidance. You do not have to complete every phase to belong here, and you never need to make up training you missed.
Build your rhythm.
Begin with what you can comfortably do today. Establish easy movement, strength, mobility and recovery before structured Base Building begins.
Enter Start Now →Build your foundation.
Choose Foundation, Building or Strengthening based on your current comfortable capacity and follow an 8-week progression.
Coming SoonMaintain what you've built.
Keep moving while making room for fasting, worship, hydration, sleep and recovery. This phase is about maintenance, not pushing fitness forward.
Coming SoonReturn to your rhythm.
Celebrate, recover and return gradually. No cramming, no makeup workouts and no fitness test.
View Transition Week →Prepare for race day.
Reassess where you are and follow six weeks of race-specific training with easy movement, quality sessions, strength and recovery.
Coming SoonCelebrate what you've accomplished.
Your training brought you here. Walk, run/walk or run your race and enjoy the finish.
Join the phase we're in now.
You do not need to start in October to use this program. Find the phase that matches when you are joining us, enter there, and use that phase's guidance to determine what is appropriate for you today.
Do not go backward and cram earlier training. Start with the current phase. The goal is to prepare responsibly from where you are now.
Assess your comfortable capacity and choose Foundation, Building or Strengthening.

Celebrate. Recover. Return to your rhythm.
The transition after Ramadan is intentionally simple. Give yourself room to celebrate Eid, recover from the month and gradually return to your normal training rhythm before Official 5K Training begins.
Your bridge into Official Training
This is not a week to test your fitness or make up anything you missed during Ramadan.
The full transition-week schedule will also appear at the end of the Ramadan Maintenance plan.
We're training for more than 3.1 miles.
Your body is an amanah, a trust from Allah SWT. Training includes challenging it, strengthening it, nourishing it, allowing it to recover and learning how to listen to it.
We train the whole athlete.
Your phase page tells you exactly what to do. Across the journey, you will see the same core pieces used in different amounts and for different purposes.
Walk, run/walk or run at a comfortable conversational effort. Walking counts.
Full-body and runner-specific strength help build a more capable, resilient athlete.
Mobility, rest, hydration, fueling and sleep are part of the training plan, not extras.
Walking, biking, swimming and other low-impact movement can support your aerobic fitness.
During Official Training, you will learn fartlek, intervals, tempo and hills before you need to perform them.
The schedule provides structure, but you can maintain, repeat, reduce or recover when your body needs it.
Follow your plan in the way that works for you.
Each major training phase will give you the same options, so once you learn the system you can use it all the way to race day.

Training Guide coming nextYou haven't missed your chance.
If you discover the program in December, during Ramadan or in March, enter the phase we are currently in. Then use that phase's guidance to assess the athlete you are today. You do not need to complete earlier phases or cram missed weeks to earn your place at the start line.
Build healthy habits. Prepare with purpose. Meet us at the finish.
5K with ME is Sunday, April 25, 2027. You do not have to train like anyone else for your preparation to count.
